We’ve tried using grid view and the metadata builder but haven’t been successful.   

Answer

• Consultants have developed their own tools which will have their own limitations (e.g., we’ve seen one which doesn’t cater for varying properties by scenario type and time).
  • Note if you obtain any of these, they won’t be supported by OneStream.

• Possibly the simplest approach would be to use excel to develop an XML file to update the relevant properties. Ensure you test on a few rows before making a mass change.
