The client has a working forecast scenario from which data is copied to reporting scenarios. The client has a load from a HR system (via Excel), but also makes manual changes in the register. The client reloads data from the HR system during each forecast cycle but wants to preserve manual changes made to the register (since these aren’t always made in the source system). Is this possible?
Answer
- In the latest version of People Planning (v620), there are new options when loading excel files into custom tables. The new features give the ability to (1) merge or (2) replace with additional where clauses. These options could be useful as it will allow more control over which rows will be replaced or merged.
