Multiple import sequence to workflow

I wanted to know if we have two or more Import sequence in a workflow(one for manual load ,other for direct Connect) and and we dont complete one of the import sequence - can we still lock the WF as a whole and have the green check mark?

I am trying to create a form template using all base and Origin as form.When I am running the form through WF,i get a light green shade in the fields where I need to key in data.Any suggestion as to why I am unable to see the white cells?
