Excel reports with Macros in Books
I have several excel reports that use macros for sorting the data rows. The macros work when I am in excel and run after I refresh OneStream, however, when running the report in a book and generating to PDF the sorting macros are not running correctly. We have found that different preference settings within the excel add-in help with getting the macro to run in Excel, but I haven't been able to figure out why it's not working in the book. Any help or ideas appreciated!
Save Offline Copy
I'm getting the below error message regarding location when trying to save a file with multiple XFGetCell formulas offline. I've updated my preferences that an earlier question showed as a solution and refreshed the workbook (again) before attempting to save...but am unable to save the file without the formulas. I've tried directly to my desktop, various folders, where downloads go.... I can't find an acceptable location. Any help would be appreciated.Double Line Formatting
Hello, We currently print out a book to our general managers every quarter and our reports formatting seemingly changed without us changing. We use double underlines as our totals and previously it worked fine, but this quarter it looks like a solid line, but when you zoom in, you can see it's a double line. Is there any way I can fix this? I've tried changing the ReportBottomLine1Thickness and ReportBottomLine2Thickness size, but with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks, Will
Page Numbers in Book Reports
I have a book report with multiple Cube views ,Excel ,Word and and PDFs. If all together the book has 100 pages, Is it possible to show the Page numbers 1 of 100, 2 of 100 in sequence? I have tried the Cube View Extender BR discussed in this forum previously and that does display Page numbers only within the Cube view where the rule is attached to and in the format of Page 1 0f 1 ,Page 2 of 2. Dynamic page references
Hi Our YE reporting pack is based on a book which retrieves a Word document (table of contents etc.) followed by a number of CVs (financials). The page references in the table of contents is static. I would like to Supress Zeros in all the CV, which would place the CVs on different pages, depending on which entity runs the book. Therefore, I would like to explore if there is a way to use dynamic page references, e.g. by putting a reference to which page a certain CV would be placed. For reference, we are currently on v7.3 but upgrading to v8.5 within long. Thanks in advance!MergeAndCenterColumnHeaders in Cube Views
Hi, Anyone on Version 8 who's actually tried to use this 'enhancement' feature in Cube Views? We requested this on Ideastream a long time ago with a lot of support. I can see this command is now available in the header format dialog; however, it would appear that the only thing it does is change the header from left justified to center view. There does not seem to be a way to actually 'merge' column headers, despite the fact that it's called "MergeAndCenter". Even the system documentation appears to confirm this behavior. Someone please tell me I'm missing something here and it actually is possible to merge column headers, because we really really wanted this feature. Thanks
