Happy February! Time flies! Just like that it's mid-February and that darn groundhog saw his shadow. While we may want to count the days until Springtime, we can't forget that January saw a lot of new faces and new discussions in our Community. May 2025: What an exciting month with OneStream Splash in Nashville! It was great to connect with many of you in person. Our Education Services area was buzzing with activity, as attendees stopped by to discuss their learning journeys and get their questions answered by our expert staff. OneStream Press was also a big hit, offering books at an exclusive discount that many of you took advantage of. We're looking forward to Splash Orlando next year and we certainly hope to see you there! April 2025: We're nearly halfway through the year! Where does time go? Next week is OneStream's Splash North America Conference! Will you be joining us in Nashville? March 2025: Is it Spring where you are yet? It's been a long winter for some, but the days are getting much longer thankfully. Here's to hoping wherever you are there's some lovely new blooms and sunshine in your very near future! Most of our metrics continue to rise! We're seeing more visits and views across the entire Community, which is really great to see. February 2025: Finally it's about to be spring! For those that participate in daylight savings... did you spring forward yesterday? It's an exciting month with St. Patrick's day right around the corner for all you sassy lassies and lads. All of our metrics have been on the rise! We're seeing more visits and views across the board as well as more new discussions. It's a new year so that means it's time for one final reflection on 2024. We had a lot of changes in 2024, including a platform upgrade and a brand new moderator. There was also a lot of growth -- check out the below metrics. It's pretty impressive! Hello 2025 and Farewell 2024! We hope everyone enjoyed a lovely New Years! The Community upgrade is now live! Our team has put together this blog to help you more quickly understand changes, enhancements and new features! Please note this post is not meant to be all encompassing and we recommend checking out our Frequently Asked Questions page in addition to this blog. So now, to the changes! WHEN IT COMES TO POSTING: First things first, how do you start a new thread? Navigate to the forum board that you wish to start a new topic inside of. For example, at the top navigation, select 'Forums' and click the drop down to select the forum board you wish to post in. You’ll then see on the right-hand side a button to “Start a Discussion” Inside your post, you’ll see some things have changed. For example, inputting code. To insert code, you’ll select the ellipis icon on the far-right side of the formatting bar Selecting that will display a drop down, where you’ll click this icon {;} A new window will pop up to Insert/Edit Code Sample. You will need to type the name of the language you’re inserting and select it when it drops down. SEARCHING AND FILTERING You can now see Featured Content on the homepage. It’s located on the righthand side about halfway down the page. Additionally, within the 'Recent Activity' feed, you can filter out recent posts by viewing the most recent, most viewed, activity with no replies yet or topics with no solutions yet. NEW TERMINIOLOGY & NEW LOOKS Kudos have been replaced with likes. They are exactly the same. You can now upvote in IdeaStream! Labels have been replaced with 'Tags'. These are exactly the same as labels, but the terminology has changed. Posts with Accepted Solutions display a new icon to indicate they are solved SEARCHING Our search function has improved! A few points to note: If your search yields usernames that contain your search term, a dedicated user box will display on the righthand side like the below example: What’s more is your results have icons next to the titles that indicate what type of result they are.
