The v8+ Office Hour Meeting is a new resource to inform and prepare customers and partners for a Platform v8+ upgrade! The Office Hour Meetings are staffed by OneStream subject matter experts having proficiency with: Customer engagement, Upgrade Process requirements, expectations, and migration environment provisioning OneStream IdentityServer (OIS) authentication ... now GA and standard technology for Platform v8 Smart Integration Connector (SIC) local data source integration ... now GA and standard technology for Platform v8 MarketPlace Solution impact, new release availability, and upgrade guidance Business Rule v8 (and .NET6) compatibility DLL file management and v8 (and .NET6) compatibility What Will Be Covered:This is a bi-weekly event for customers and partners to engage with subject matter experts focused in on OIS, SIC, MarketPlace Solutions, Business Rules, and 3rd party DLLs regarding v8. This is a live forum for general questions for those interested in v8 or in the early preparation phase of their upgrade to 8.0.0. What WillNotBe Covered:Specific questions for those performing upgrade activities in the migration phase. Please follow the normal Support ticket process for assistance with issues encountered during the v8 Upgrade migration phase - OneStream has additional resources ready to engage in specific v8 upgrade issues and questions. *The v8 Office Hours will be pre-scheduled and will occur bi-weekly on Thursdays. Each Office Hour meeting has a unique link and registration process. OneStream has produced av8+ Upgrade Readiness Checklist document to assist self-hosted customers with the v8+ Upgrade Process. The document is attached to this post. Cloud Customers will receive a customer-specific version of this document from their Customer Success Manager during the Preparation Phase of the Upgrade. The v8+ Readiness Checklist augment's the Platform Upgrade Guide and other content in this ONECommunity Gruop to highlight key upgrade activities. All new customers to Platform v8+ and those upgrading to v8+ have the choice to enable BrowserUX in their non-prod and/or prod instances. BrowserUX has established browser access to OneStream and provides for the comprehensive end-user experience. For SaaS customers -Modern Browser Experience for Platform Version 8.4+, you no longer need to log a ticket or contact your Customer Success Manager. On Platform versions 8.4+ and later, the Modern Browser Experience will be included with every release. For Self-Hosted customers there is additional configuration required to enable it, which is outlined in the modern browser experience user guide.
