User License Verification
Hi! Is there a way to verify the user types and total that you are licensed to have within the Onestream application? I want to compare this number to our user agreement. TYIA!
The MarketPlace application Security Audit Reports has a number of reports. There is one called User List - Grid View which shows the users with their details including their UserType and Enabled status. The report can be exported to csv.

For checking the current users types, you can export the users in an .xml file and it will show you also the type each user is assigned. To do that, you must go in the System tab, identify the Load/Extract section and go to Extract. In the drop down, select Security and check only Users:
To check the number of licenses, I usually go to the error log and search the description for a log of the app server starting that also tells you the no. of licensed users. Can look similar to this: Application Server Starting Up. (FW Database Time UTC = 11/19/2024 10:42:20 AM) (Licensed to OneStreamSaaS. Unlimited Users.)
Happy to see if there are other ways to do this, though.
Hi, Ioana! I found it and, like yours, it says "Unlimited Users" but I do not know what that means. I was expecting a number. Do you know why it says "Unlimited"? Thanks!
Hi, I am not sure if 'Unlimited' is actually restricted to a certain number of users. I also did not find any information/documentation on this matter as of now.
