I'm going to be running into the same challenge here shortly without a solution on hand. It doesn't appear there's an option to write a business rule to help, unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious. I'm seconding the question of solving due dates that are on weekends/holidays...
No... it is not obvious... unless I am missing it too. There was not a work around we could figure out. The administrator will just have to change their duration for every period. With 800 tasks it will be a lot, so I wish there was a solution to have the system recognize weekends and not include them in the count.
