There is an extensibility rule in GolfStream (XFR_ExportAppMetadata) that can be run to perform the extract.

 

An Extensibility Rule can be called by a Data Management job which can be set up for automation by using PowerShell or REST. The data management job can also be set up to run on demand by attaching it to a button in a dashboard.
