Question: If using a standard time dimension, how can weekly data be captured in a weekly scenario?

• If not using a custom time dimension with weeks in place, the input frequency will not give you the option of weekly input.
  • In this case, one could create weeks 1 – 5 within a UD for loading data.
  • Using this approach would mean data is loaded to the relevant time period (i.e., month) but also the relevant UD week member.
  • You need to consider this during design, since workflow or view requirements may influence whether a custom time dimension would be preferable.
