Question: Users would like to copy form data to an excel for quick analysis without having to export, currently when copying to excel it seems to bring it back as text and puts the data into separate cells wherever commas are.

This is a function of the Excel settings when last using an import of CSV data.  Make sure comma is not the active delimiter choice in Excel…you can check by highlighting data & selecting “Text to Columns”.
