Question: Where and how can default formatting be set for reporting purposes, is there a way to format “Empty” to retrieve “0” instead?
Updated 2 years ago
Version 5.0Yes, default report formatting for Cube Views, PDFs, and Excel can be set in a number of different places.
Application Settings – Sets default formatting across the entire application
Cube View Settings – Sets the formatting specific to the cube view (overwrites Application settings)
Rows and Column Formats – Sets the formatting for specific rows and columns
Cell Formats – Sets the formatting for a specific cell
For number specific formatting to be standardized you can change the application wide settings under application settings à Number Format.
To get zeros instead of blanks select the “ #,###,0.00;(#,###,0.00);0.00” format
