Today is the day! Our all-new Community platform is now live. By now, all the kinks should be worked out and the OneStream Community is updated and ready to go! As a reminder, all your favorite features remain but some things may look a little different. We will post a blog tomorrow detailing some changes that will affect our users the most, so please be on the lookout for that. We have updated the FAQ and the Code of Conduct to reflect the update. The Following are the Terms of Service for The OneStream Community. Use of the OneStream Community Site indicates you accept these terms and waive any further objections to these terms or future modifications thereto. PURPOSE OneStream Community is a peer-to-peer and direct support channel for people cultivating enterprise communities on the OneStream platform. It is a central for education and thought leadership on best practices, where we also ideate with customers directly on how to improve and extend the product platform. Enterprise communities are communities created by business organizations for their customers, partners, or other enthusiasts. Although this community is designed for OneStream customers, partners and employees, we welcome anyone with an interest in enterprise communities to participate in public areas. We expect all to observe the community rules of conduct set forth in these Terms of Service. CONDUCT You may not share the login credentials to your registered account with any other individual, entity, or organization. You may not use your registration membership (or allow anyone else to use your registration membership) to post or transmit: Content that is abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, fraudulent, or that discloses private or personal matters concerning any person. This includes language, information, or images. Content that is threatening, defamatory or abusive, either between forum members or directed towards a OneStream moderator, or a OneStream employee or manager. "Rants," "slams," or legal threats against OneStream or another company or competitor. Bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive comments. Political or religious statements or commentary. Off-topic comments not related to enterprise communities or the OneStream platform. Any material that you don't have the right to transmit under law (such as DMCA, copyright, trade secret, or securities) or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as nondisclosure agreements). Language that promotes illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them. This includes any message that solicits or promotes the use of an illegal substance. Advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation including chain letters, pyramid schemes, class action suits, or charitable appeals. This includes advertising links in signatures. Any file or link to a file that contains viruses, corrupted files, "Trojan Horses," or any other contaminating or destructive features that may damage someone else's computer. Duplicate posts, spam messages, or posts repeated excessively on one or more boards. Messages designed to evade profanity or other filters. Personal phone numbers or addresses, or any other personal information (to protect privacy). Personal email addresses, private information such as social security numbers, or other contact information that is not your own, including, but not limited to OneStream employee's email addresses. Hyperlinks that lead to sites or content that violate any of the forum guidelines. Any message that impersonates another person or affiliation with an entity, including, but not limited to, OneStream In addition, our guidelines do not permit you to: Intentionally violate any other applicable law or regulation while accessing and using our site Interfere in any way with the operations in the forum or with a fellow user's message box, including but not limited to mail or "post" bombing, news bombing, other flooding techniques, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks, or attempts to avoid messaging blocking. Selling anything, plagiarizing content that is not yours, or circumventing security measures. Evading bans or suspensions or otherwise disregarding directions from OneStream moderators or administrators. Howdy folks! As a reminder, we are rapidly approaching the Community platform upgrade, slated for Wednesday, December 4. We anticipate downtime and some things looking wonky up until noon EST. Please bear with us as we get everything updated and sorted. Here's what you can expect while the upgrade takes place: December 4 1am- 6am EST - Community platform magic begins! 7am EST- SSO back up and running! AKA: users will be able to login again 8-12pm EST- visual enhancements are put in place For those in time zones ahead of EST, we expect you might have several hours where the community is unavailable. Community Platform Upgrade On December 4th, our Community is getting a big upgrade! The transition has been a long time in the works and we’ll be transitioning from Khoros Classic to Khoros Aurora. While the vendor isn’t changing, the entire site is going to look completely different. We’ll have a much more modern and streamlined look that coincides with OneStream’s new branding. Don’t worry -- all your favorite features will remain! Expect some all-new features, a new landing page and of course new graphics. Please bear with us on December 4th -- we're anticipating some potential downtime and 503 errors on the day of launch. By noon EST everything should be straightened out. We’re doing our very best to test the new platform in the meantime and hope our Community users experience a seamless transition. New OneStream Certification Exam Vendor With Updated Processes On October 25, 2024, the OneStream Certification Program’s exam proctoring partner will transition from Examity to MonitorEDU. If you already hold a OneStream Certification, this proctor experience will differ slightly when you take a future exam. What’s staying the same? Just about everything! To register for an exam, you will still log into CertMetrics via the OneStream Portal and SSO to TestWise to select your exam. Then, you will select your date and time with the new, virtual exam proctor, MonitorEDU. You will receive a confirmation email. What’s changing? On exam day, you will still log into CertMetrics via the OneStream Portal and SSO to TestWise to begin your exam, however, you will now need TWO cameras; a webcam AND a mobile device to be proctored. You will now need TWO cameras for your exam. One on your laptop and one on your mobile device. Download Google Meet for FREE on your mobile device. Verify your sound, camera, and microphone all function in both sample meetings. The proctor will ask you to place your mobile device carefully so that you and your screen can be seen easily. This may take some time, so be prepared. View this MonitorEDU video to help set up your room for exam day. If your exam is scheduled AFTER October 31, 2024, you will need to CANCEL your exam without penalty and reschedule it with MonitorEDU by logging into CertMetrics and SSO to TestWise as normal. Effective October 17, 2024, any OneStream training courses that you complete are automatically imported to CertMetrics and displayed on your earner dashboard. This enhancement provides you with a flexible and engaging way to maintain your certification and view your path to recertification in real-time! Here's what you need to know: Learn More: Certain activities still require a self-upload of evidence to CertMetrics for the Certification Team to process and award OnePoints. You may have seen the announcement about the launch of the OneStream Certified Associate (OCA) in Administration R2 exam on September 24, 2024. With this launch, the OneStream Certified Associate (OCA) in Administration R1 exam will retire on November 24, 2024, sixty days after the release of the new R2 exam. What does this mean to me? · Once a certification exam retires, certifications associated with that exam can no longer be extended - this is why you are receiving this email. · At this time, you: o retain your OCA in Administration R1 certification through your current expiration date. o are able to extend your OCA in Administration R1 certification, following all OnePoints requirements, through November 24, 2024. · After November 24, 2024, you will: o retain your OCA in Administration R1 certification through your current expiration date. o need to pass the OCA in Administration R2 exam to keep your Administration certification current after your OCA in Administration R1 certification expiration date. FAQs · How do I know my current OCA in Administration R1 certification expiration date? o Sign in at osportal.onestream.com o Click the CertMetrics tile to be taken to your CertMetrics account o In the left navigation pane click 'Certifications' then 'Status' o On this page you will see a tile for each certification you hold. You will be able to schedule the OCA in Administration R2 exam through the standard process when you are ready.
