We have a cube view with 3 levels of expansion – Account, UD4 (Currency) and Entity. We would like to see the entities summed for each account, by currency.
Thus, in the example shown for A#TOT_REV in U4#AUD, we want the 3 entities to be summed and return a single value.
We know it can be done via XFBR, but am having trouble envisioning what that would look like…can you share examples or suggestions?

What is not discussed in the question is what the currencies of the base entities and the parent are…
If they are the same, then it would be as simple as:
- The assumption is that is NOT the case. Assuming the base entities and parent shown are a mix of local currencies, then an XFBR rule or UD8 dynamic calc is the most feasible approach.
The following UD8 calculation would produce the same results as shown on the previous slide:
