Can that be done within the member filter, or does it require a business rule?
Answer
- There are two possible solutions:
- Use UD Attribute members
- Data is not loaded directly to an Attribute member. Instead, its results are derived from references to properties of other members, such as Names, Descriptions or Text fields
- The Design and Reference Guide (Cubes chapter) contains more information. There is also a Partner webcast titled “User Defined Attribute members” on Academy which covers this functionality.
- Use a Business Rule to calculate the desired results
