documentation: file having all functions syntax/ library/ libraries

Dear all,

 

Is there any file containing the detail/syntax of the functions? I'm thinking for instance in an XML file or something similar.

No. Not sure what you'd use it for, to be honest 🙂 if you start from the helper tree, and check out the clickable links in the Objects tab, you should find everything you need.

Hi Jack,

thank you but the library only helps in one level. If you want to check several items at the same time including the examples, it's difficult. 

Do you expect to publish a pdf or something similar and easier to navigate?

I would add that, with the new tab-docking feature in 8.4, you can now have multiple editor windows (and hence multiple helper trees) open at the same time.

As for everything, there are future plans for improvement in the area of documentation, particularly for developers, but I can't comment on details.
