Narrative Reportings Extensible Docs
Hi, I need to provide a demo for a customer who is exploring using Narrative Reporting. I am using the Termplate to create the Root/Section/Document structure. Can anyone provide me with the Extensible docs that are associated with the template and imported into NR? Displayed in green below: It would save me a lot of time and effort. Hello! Has someone tried Narrative reporting in 9.1 version? I am currently experiencing issues: 1.- Inserting charts/Advanced Charts / Reports if someone could insert an exaple on how they have done it. 2.- I cannot vie the artifacts and acces them, this message keeps popping up (and the names are fine) Thank you so much for the help!!Viewing export of dashboard in screenshot or Extensible Document
I have a dashboard (not bi-viewer, standard OneStream dashboard) frame that needs to be shared with users outside the application on a regular basis. How can I use a screenshot of this dashboard as a picture or book file to be shared with users outside the app? Users currently screenshot the picture and save the file locally before sharing. I'm hoping to use a OneStream tool to accomplish this. I've investigated extensible documents and books, but they appear to require build a "report" dashboard component. Not looking to rebuild the dashboard from scratch. Ideal situation would be similar to how cube views can embed to picture in Extensible PowerPoints, but I'm open to other options. Thanks in advance

I am trying to add an advanced chart and BI viewer charts to an extensible document. I know I can change the alt text on an image using {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{CubeViewName} but am wondering what the reference would be to add in advanced charts or BI viewer items.book using App database file don't refresh
hi All, good day. I created a Book using cube views reports and App database files (text editor file including DOCSVARIABLE), I used a filter in time dimension to select the period, when I run the book, even in preview, I select the period and the cube views refresh the data but not the App database file; do anyone knows if I need to do something for refresh the text editor? also if I change the text editor adding or modifying the cube view, the file delete the new cube view and the modified; is it a bug? Narrative Reporting
I am trying to move a Narrative Report book from one environment to another and am struggling to do so without having to re-build it. Is there anyone on this Community that has managed to do so successfully? Would truly appreciate the steps you followed to get this done successfully.
Intermittent 500 Error when calling OS Data Adaptor using Rest API 5.2.0
We have several applications calling OneStream data adaptor via Rest API. Very frequently and randomly the connection fails with a 500 error. If we wait and retry the connection is successful. We have not been able to find the root cause. We observed that when the Rest API has 2 entries in the Log Activity table in OneStream the connection is successful. The screen shot is from the Logon Activity table in OneStream. Every so often the connection fails with a HTTP 500 Error and we observed that only one the set is entered in the table. Have any of you encountered this type of issue.XF Document is not working anymore
Hi All, good day; last week I created Book with a word document with XFCell function and working good showing the amounts, now the same document is just showing the XFCell funcion. I also started to use the alt text {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{BS_Var} but nothing shows. Does anyone knows if I need to do something different? Thanks in advance and best Regards. Mario GV
