Extensible documents - Chart component does not show data in PowerPoint
Hi everyone, I am trying to retrieve a Chart (Advanced) in my PowerPoint presentation, making use of the Alt Text functionality and extensible documents. The chart component works perfectly fine in OneStream. I can see the chart and correct the data. However, when I open the PowerPoint containing a picture with the Alt Text, I get the following message: The message prompts that there are no parameters for the selected item. However, my data adapter is linked to a cube view, which has an entity selection parameter in the cube view POV. When I click 'OK', the PowerPoint opens, but the chart area is empty. When I hardcode the entity in the cube view that is used as a source for the data adapter, I get the exact same error message, but the chart area is populated with data. Therefore, I think I'm doing something wrong with the parameter settings of the Chart (advanced) component. However, I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be very much appreciated. Hi everyone, I am looking for a solution to insert dashboards in extensible PowerPoints. I know how to put cube views, reports, etc., into PowerPoint. However, in the object lookup, there is no option for embedded dashboards or other dashboard components. Some background about the dashboard. It is set up using the same way dashboards are set up in Golfstream. It uses some state indicators and labels. The headers and state indicators are set up in separate dashboards and are merged into one dashboard using 2 rows and 1 column. I have looked at workarounds on how to get the dashboard into a PDF or report. However, I did not find a working solution yet. Therefore I am reaching out to the community. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Floris van der Poel cpmview E: Fvanderpoel@cpmview.com3.6KViews1like6CommentsXFDoc - PPT dynamic calcs
Hello, Is it possible to add dynamic calcs (UD8 member) into an XF doc powerpoint? I am trying to create an XFCELL that uses a variance member in UD8. However, I keep getting 0 as the value. Also, is there a way for a user to see the settings/parameters once an XFdoc is downloaded from OS? I saw an example in GolfStream, but it's only the final document (or appears to be). Thank you!3.1KViews0likes5CommentsSimilar parameter loop feature for power point extensible document as in report books?
I am using powerpoint xfdoc to pull CV using alt text. This cube view had 3 parameters, each with 2 or 3 values. The ask is to pull each combination of those parameter on a different slide of the ppt. Is there a way to achieve that outside of report books loop feature where I can only export it as pdf?2.9KViews0likes7CommentsUpload of financial statements into OneStream
Hi there. Currently my client does not generate their financial statements from OneStream, however,is lookingat using OneStream as a tool to possibly import, edit and publish into an adobe design template or word document for their Annual Financial Statements so that they can update comments and numbers and then export from OneStream again (basically trying to remove the back and forth to type setters') does that functionality exist in OneStream? Hi everyone, I want to retrieve a report component into my PowerPoint, using the extensible documents and the Alt Text functionality of PowerPoint. I have created a graph within a report component. As you can see in the picture below, I have created the graph within the ReportHeader1 section of the report, and it shows data when it's run. However, when I open the extensible document PowerPoint, it just shows a black window. The picture has the following Alt Text: {XF}{Application}{Report}{Development} PageNumber=1, CropLeft=0, CropTop=0, CropWidth=0, CropHeight=0, Zoom=100, MaintainAspectRatio=False, FillMode=Height, Anchor=TopLeft, IncludeBorders=False, IncludeReportMargins=False, IncludeReportHeader=False, IncludeReportFooter=False, IncludePageHeader=False, IncludePageFooter=False. This is the outcome: Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Kind regards, Floris van der PoelSolved2.5KViews1like2CommentsCube Views in Extensible Documents

Hi All, I create a spreadsheet business rule to refresh the data from external table using Table Views, now our users wants to drop these files into OneStream file share on daily basis so external systems can consume. Is it possible to use parcel service to refresh these files (using table views with in the spreadsheet) and drop them into file share every time the job trigger ? Or Is there any alternate approaches to export data from custom table to excel files ? Thank you.Solved2.2KViews0likes4CommentsBI Viewer component in Powerpoint extensible document
