Security Report - Dashboard for Admin- Access
Good day to you. Currently, we are working on a Dashboard for User Access. We have successfully implemented the logic to retrieve Security Group Unique IDs along with their corresponding Security Group details. As part of this dashboard, we now need to retrieve Workflow Profile–level details, specifically: Entity assigned to the Workflow Profile Access Group Maintenance Group Workflow Execution Group Certification / Signoff Group So far, we have been able to retrieve details for points (1), (2), and (3). However, we are unable to fetch the Workflow Execution Group and Certification / Signoff Group details using either Business Rules or SQL queries. Could you please help us by suggesting: The appropriate Business Rule method/API, or A supported SQL approach, to retrieve these remaining Workflow Profile security details? Your guidance on the recommended approach would be greatly appreciated.
Genesis cannot start: "Value cannot be null."
Hi What to do when I get this error messages in Genesis: Unable to open dashboard 'OpenPlace_(Designer)'. Error processing DataSet 'GetWFSteps'. Error executing Workspace Assembly Service class 'Workspace.Gen.CubeViewCharts_x2x.MUAssemblyFactory'.Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'reader'). How to reset? The problem happens when working with Block: Cube View Charts. It will not read my cube view and give the following comment: Value cannot be null. An error messages that is difficult to work with, as it does not say where the problem is. But this second, as I cannot get into the genesis instance.
Narrative Reportings Extensible Docs

Hello! Has someone tried Narrative reporting in 9.1 version? I have a dashboard (not bi-viewer, standard OneStream dashboard) frame that needs to be shared with users outside the application on a regular basis. How can I use a screenshot of this dashboard as a picture or book file to be shared with users outside the app? Users currently screenshot the picture and save the file locally before sharing. I'm hoping to use a OneStream tool to accomplish this. I've investigated extensible documents and books, but they appear to require build a "report" dashboard component. Not looking to rebuild the dashboard from scratch. Ideal situation would be similar to how cube views can embed to picture in Extensible PowerPoints, but I'm open to other options. Thanks in advance

I am trying to add an advanced chart and BI viewer charts to an extensible document. I know I can change the alt text on an image using {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{CubeViewName} but am wondering what the reference would be to add in advanced charts or BI viewer items.book using App database file don't refresh
hi All, good day. I created a Book using cube views reports and App database files (text editor file including DOCSVARIABLE), I used a filter in time dimension to select the period, when I run the book, even in preview, I select the period and the cube views refresh the data but not the App database file; do anyone knows if I need to do something for refresh the text editor? also if I change the text editor adding or modifying the cube view, the file delete the new cube view and the modified; is it a bug? Narrative Reporting
I am trying to move a Narrative Report book from one environment to another and am struggling to do so without having to re-build it. Is there anyone on this Community that has managed to do so successfully? Would truly appreciate the steps you followed to get this done successfully.
