Report error for just 1 user?
Hi, we have a user that is receiving the following error message when trying to run a report in the People Planning module. I cannot recreate the issue as an admin, it's working fine for me... What is quite odd is that the reports worked fine for her up until a week ago. Possible solutions we already tested: (1) Reset IIS (2) validate no changes in security (3) log out and back in. Has anyone ever seen this before?8Views0likes0CommentsWorkspace assemblies - Call functions from another file within the same assembly
Hi I'm trying to find out the correct way to reference a function in another Workspace assemblies file. For example say i have: 1) XFBR business rule assembly file (ParamHelper.Vb) 2) Dashboard Extender business rule assembly file (SolutionHelper.Vb) I want to call a function that is in SolutionHelper.vb from my code that sits in ParamHelper.vb In standard business rules this was easily achieved using Referenced Assemblies in the business rule property and then adding something along the lines of this below: Dim _MYHelper As New OneStream.BusinessRule.DashboardExtender.HPB_SolutionHelper.MainClass Just not sure how the same is achieved using assemblies Thank youSolved5.7KViews0likes12CommentsRead only access to Ancillary Tables
8.5 environment, on prem. My understanding is that if I want read only access for users to Ancillary Tables I need to use the config utility and set Access Group for Ancillary Tables to a user group that would be different than Maintenance Group or Table Creation Group. I did this and my users in the group assigned to Access Group are able to edit ancillary tables. Then I found this documentation that implies that Access Group gives edit rights to ancillary tables. Does anyone have a definitive answer on this or know how to setup read only access to ancillary tables?5Views0likes0CommentsDisable dashboard for UX but run in desktop.

I have my task manager set up by Weeks: Therefore, I've been using Frequency ranges as 1-52 or 1,2,3 etc. as from the Task Manager guide. Let's say I want to make only 1 task group start on W1-W3. I input that into the task group and individual tasks but still it doesn't show up. However, if I don't put any frequency range, it shows up for all weeks I publish. I just want it to show up for 1 week. BCA #1 doesn't show up at all in any charts but BCA #2 shows up in all weeks published. I've also set up my Close Dates but it still doesn't work: Any pointers or tips? Thank you9Views0likes0CommentsGuided reporting
Dear all, Could you please advise why user doesn't see Guided reporting section in Dashboards (OnePlace). As administrator I see Guided reporting and user has been included in security group that can view reporting group and reports inside of this group in Guided reporting section.11Views0likes0CommentsCall Assembly Business Rule from another Workspace in a Data Management Step
I'm looking to call a business rule that is located in a different workspace within Assemblies but am unsuccessful. The first screenshot below shows my DM step configuration. The business rule I'm trying to call is an out-of-the-box rule within the Financial Close solution. The second screenshot shows the workspace (namespace prefix = OFC), the assembly (RCM) and the business rule (DiscoverRecons). The third screenshot shows the tool tip when you hover over "Business Rules" on the DM step. I've attempted many variations of the yellow highlighted syntax, always returning an invalid business rule error. The fourth screenshot shows the out-of-the-box DM step I'm emulating. I used this to verify the parameters I'm passing in work which they do. I've ensured that both the current workspace and OFC workspaces are sharable and include the shared workspace names. Does anyone know the correct syntax to call this rule into my DM step?92Views0likes7CommentsBulk edit dashboard frames
Is there a method or tool that can edit dashboard frames (names) in bulk? I would like to create a base dashboard template that would include headers, content, and footers. This would be copied & pasted to separate maintenance units and then customized for each dashboard. Is there a way to bulk-edit dashboard frames, or assist with copying & pasting dashboards without renaming them one by one? The only way I know of now is extracting to an XML and changing the text through notepad.26Views0likes2Comments
