Data access on member formula

Hi all,

I have a member formula with simple calculation (e.g., Account A / Account B), and there is a data access security set up upon account A.

I am wondering if a user without account A access, can the user be able to see the calculated result? My hunch is that it will show access on the end results, may I know how OneStream will handle this?

    Hi Jacky_C,

    For cases like this one the best way really is to try and see the result.

    I think that you'll find that the calculation, like you say, will still show you the result regardless of user access, however, if this is a member formula in a dynamic calc, one option could set up the same access rights as account A to this account?
