Clarification for the Building Basic Reports - Parameters Lab - Challenge
Hello, while creating a new parameter for the Department, it wasn't clear which dimension in the cube view that parameter needs to be attached to. Selecting Sales, Marketing or Finance would produce the same output. Pls advise.My UD8 formula is not running! Why?
The system looks for formulas on members of the Point of View in this order: Account -> Flow -> UD1 -> UD2 -> UD3 -> UD4 -> UD5 -> UD6 -> UD7 -> UD8. As soon as a formula is found and executed, the process stops. So if you placed a formula on the Account, for example, UDs will never be executed.
