How to Add Adjustments with Add Back Category and Free-Form Add Back Name to Actuals in OneStream?
Hi Everyone, I’m working with Actuals data structured like the attached screenshot and want to add adjustments linked to this data. Key points: Adjustments must tie to Actuals by Company, Account, and Month Each adjustment includes: An Add Back Category An Add Back Name, which is free-form text and can vary monthly I want to maintain monthly detail and enable reporting and drill-down by both Add Back Category and Add Back Name My questions: What’s the best approach to model and load adjustments with both a Add Back Category and a free-form Add Back Name in OneStream? Should Add Back Name be a UD member with auto-create, a text attribute, or something else? How to avoid member explosion or reporting complexity given the free-form nature of Add Back Name? How can I ensure adjustments roll up correctly and maintain data integrity? Any recommendations for validation, governance, and reporting for this kind of adjustment detail? Hi all, We've installed a self-hosted 9.1 OS server, and now when trying to configure the SIC to connect to our datalake, I can't find the "Smart Integration Connector" in the Admin tab within OS Desktop. I already checked the version of all software an it's all 9.1.0. I could configure the Local connection to the Data Lake properly, but can't figure out what's missing to make it show as usually in OS admin tab. Anything I'm missing? Ensure users see error logs for specific app
Hi everyone, I have one environment with two apps. The users of one app cannot access the data of the users of the other app, and viceversa. I created 3 groups, one to assign the system roles that both teams need (es: error log) to both teams, and the other two to assign all the application roles of each app to specific teams (team1 will have access to all application roles within app1, and the same for team2 and app2). now I would need to make sure the users of one app can only see the error logs generated by app1, and not the ones generated by app2 (and the same for the users of team2). is that possible? Thank you!
Best way to narrow down where a simple account name is used (ex. AR)
Hello! We named an alternate hierarchy account parent AR and are now trying to find where that account was called/used because we want to remove it without impacting other things (we'll redirect wherever it's referenced to its replacement/new hierarchy). We use Finit's Toolkit/SearchIt (replaced by OS's ownership in more recent releases) but as you can imagine, searching "AR" gets 100s/1000s of matches. Is there a way folks might suggest to narrow down this search? A#AR has helped but I'm afraid we'll still miss areas where the A# isn't referenced in front of the account name. We also tried searching the member ID in SearchIt and that doesn't work. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks! -Nicole
Environment Monitoring Graph Not Displaying Any Values
Hi everyone, I've been trying to use the Environment Monitoring feature, but for some reason the graph doesn't display any values. The interface loads correctly and I can select different metrics and time ranges, but the chart area stays empty—no lines, no points, nothing. Has anyone experienced this before or have any idea what might be causing it? Any tips on how to troubleshoot or configure it properly would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
