The Certification Program is excited to announce the OneStream Certified Associate in Administration BETA exam is officially live!

The beta testing window is open now through November 11, 2022.

What is a BETA exam?

OneStream follows a rigorous process aligned with high stakes psychometric guidelines to develop valid, reliable, and fair exams resulting in industry-recognized credentials. Prior to releasing a certification exam, OneStream will offer exams during a “try-out” or Beta period. These Beta exams are open for a short period of time, with a goal of having 100 or more participants complete the exam. Beta exams are used to collect data on the performance of the exam items. The statistical results of the exam items’ performance, along with the candidates’ comments and feedback, assist OneStream in selecting effective exam items to build and release the production exam, which is the final version of the exam.

Using the raw data from the Beta exam, the Beta participants are scored on the new final production exam.

What’s in it for me when I become a BETA candidate?

  • You have the opportunity to see the entire pool of questions and to provide feedback.
  • You have the opportunity to save 50% off the standard price of the exam (The cost for the beta exam is only $125).
  • If you pass the exam, you will become OneStream Certified!

How much knowledge and skill do I need to take the Beta exam?

Knowledge, skill, and experience vary from individual to individual. During the Beta exam, OneStream seeks all candidates who are interested. This includes candidates who are considered above qualified, below qualified, and minimally qualified to pass the exam. For additional details on knowledge and recommended experience, please refer to the Study Guide.

How long will the Beta exam take to complete?

The Beta exam has a total of 240 minutes (4 hours) allotted. However, depending on your knowledge, skill, and experience, you may NOT need the entire time to complete the exam.

If you are interested in taking the beta exam, contact certification@onestreamsoftware.com.

Please visit the Certification web site for more information regarding the exam.

@darpan13 this exam is a different certification exam from the Lead Architect. If you pass it you will become a OneStream Certified Associate in Administration.
