Question: Is there an option to clear non-calculated data in a “bulk” (as known from hs.clear) other than looping through the data buffer and use “SetDataCell” (which has a higher performance impact)? The “ClearCalculatedData“ is not impacting input/imported data – right?

• However, there is no equivalent of hs.clear to clear non-calculated data within OneStream (by design…because it “breaks” the audit trail inherent in the product).
• Enhancement Status: See no enhancement requests to give ability to clear non-calculated data via rules.

• Rule Approach:  While we do not recommend this, for clearing data, if you do continue down this route, the following MAY (not tested) be more efficient in terms of performance…this adds the step of setting the cells in a new data buffer:
