Question: When loading data in to BI Blend, can we get the description, instead of the name?

Answer

• By default, any dimension set as an aggregation will return the name field, however, this can be modified within the aggregation controls. Using one of the following at the end of the aggregation control will replace the label:
• N – Name
• D – Description
• ND – Name and Description

•  Alternatively, the "Create Star Schema" option will create dimension tables which will contain all variations of name and description which could be used in the data query.
