Anyone know why this is the case? All of the Entities in the below Tree are CLP Entities. Entity 585 has an auto-translation currency of USD. 5XX and 5ZX are set-up identically. Yet, ActivityCalc doesnt roll up to 5ZX, but it does to 5XX? Then FX doesn't roll up at all. Then EndBal does for both Entities. It seems each of these Flows have different behavior. What am I missing? **putting auto-translation of USD on the parents does not help, all IsConsolidated settings on the calculated accounts are True **

After talking with support you have to have (1) auto translation currency on BOTH the base and the parent (each Entity translates with that setting independently or in other words, it does not consolidate from the base Entities), and (2) any calculation which happens in translated currencies has to be open to Parent Entities as well (calculations in local currency can stay restricted to Base Entities). #2 is going to affect performance in addition to OS translating to multiple currencies, so it is something to advise your customer before going down this route (as opposed to alternate structure with the right parent currency). Also, for those of you new to Auto Translation currencies, the below is how it should be set up:

The first option is good because you only have to enter USD overrides. The 2nd option is bad because you have to enter USD overrides AND SGD overrides. The 2nd example would produce a number in local currency (SGD) CTA which is incorrect which causes the need for SGD overrides.
