Hi,
Is it Possible to extract any metadata (For Example Account) from one environment and upload the same into another environment?
Thanks,

Hi Madesh,
You could also have a look at Marketplace Solution Application Control Manager (ACM) which has a feature to synchronize metadata between environements. But if it's more of one-time-deal, or that you are still in a development phase, that might be to complicated to set up.

Hi Madesh,
Use the Load/Extract under Application to extract the Metadata you want (For example Account) and then open the application you want to import it to. Go to the same Load/Extract and load the exported Metadata file into the new application. If you are extracting and loading to applications in the same evironment, then you should not have any issues with Security. If you are extracting from one application in Dev and loading it into an application in Prod, then you can get some issues if you don't have the same security groups in both environments.
Also remember that Metadata is loaded with merge, meaning any members that have been deleted will still be there.

Just to clarify the Security issue, that will not happen with the Account dimension, but could happen with the Entity dimension because that dimension has Security on each entity member.
