In 5.2 there has been a slight tweak to the underlying code we can use in OneStream to create and update members via our BRAPI functions in the software. Please check out the documentation attached which documents the change in the code as well as the resolution.
Today, we have quite a few customers that have created a process to either create or update members via code in their applications.
Common examples of this include:
Using a transformation event handler to auto create members that do not yet exist in the cube when a new member gets loaded to in stage
- Using a dashboard extender rule to facilitate an interactive dashboard that allows an admin to create members or update member descriptions from a centralized dashboard
- Reporting Base in Extensible cubes does not provide correct results, given workaround in Reporting
- BI Viewer does not show Data After Initial Setup in Reporting
- Extensible Finance - member already exists error in Application Build
- SAP Connector V8.0.0 in Workflow and Data Integration
- Passing OS Version Number as a Dashboard Parameter in Rules
